Scuba - my new best friend

I L-O-V-E Scuba diving! The girls and I grabbed an awesome deal from Dealfind, a 90 minute intro class at Aqua Sport Scuba Center. We had a blast...at least I did! I was a little nervous before we got there but meeting the girls for a snack helped calm my nerves. We filled out some paperwork and then jumped into the water! Our instructor Don, was a 5 foot nothing scuba guru. He was patient, funny and put us all at ease. It was so awesome moving through the lesson, I learned more from this class then any other Scuba intro class I have attended while on vacation (scary, I know), and was really confident by the end of it. I am so ready for the open water! I feel as though a whole new world has been unlocked for me to enjoy. I can't pass it by. I will need to get back in the water and dive again...but maybe not in our climate. Bring on the tropics!

Scuba...

Still not sure if I like Scuba or not. I would have to try it again to be sure. The price was right. $20 for 90 minutes. If it wasn't for Aqua Sport Scuba Center offering such a great deal through Dealfind I probably wouldn't of tried it. Don Warner the instructor was great and you can tell he has a real passion for diving which is almost infectious. He is the perfect teacher, he really wants to see you succeed. I am glad I tried it, my husband wants to dive so I may go again with him and decide if it is for me or not.

Take the plunge! Scuba Diving in Marda Loop

I was super curious when I saw this come up on Dealfind. $20 for 90 minutes at Aqua Sport Scuba Center (located in Marda Loop). Sign me up!
Don't get me wrong ... I was really nervous. I've always been somewhat curious about scuba diving. I could have tried it while vacationing in Mexico or Cuba, but always found something else to check out. I enjoy looking at the ocean, playing in it with my kids, and hanging on the beach.

Today the 4 of us went to an intro course to Scuba at the Aqua Sport Scuba Center. We only had to pay $20.00 as we bought it on Calgary's Deal of the Day a while back. I have to say that I wasn't planning on liking this and I also was dreading this day...I was dreading it because I had to get in a bathing suit and then a wetsuit, and on me it's totally unattractive. But once I got in the pool I didn't really care.
