WOW! These books are amazing. Truly a must read. There are three books in the series, book one is Hunger Games, book two is Catching Fire and finally the third book is Mockingjay.
The author is Suzanne Collins. I'm pretty sure the books are classified as a youth read, but as an adult I thought the books were amazing. I never felt like I was missing out on any "adult content". I suggest that if you are interested in reading the books, get all three right away. You will blow through book one like nobody's business and then you will hunger (pardon the pun) for the next two right away. I actually didn't want these books to end, they were that good. But on the bright side, now I can get back to my life and much needed housework! Happy Reading!

I've heard so many great things about The Hunger Games, and I'm an avid reader, so why have I not read these books? I think I'm afraid they'll be depressing in a futuristic way? Maybe I'll go ahead and take the leap!

My teenagers love the Hunger Games so maybe I will give them a read! I came by from UBP11...I am from just outside Edmonton so Calgary of course peaked my interest!
